Allow Customizing Right Click Menu

I would love to customize and add actions to the right click menu, possibly removing and replacing existing entries.
As this menu is different for various actions, we do need to set multiple variations or set a global one.

The support should cover:

Adding Links and On-Device-Links (with Symbols)
Adding Links as Nested Tab
Adding Shortcuts
Adding Apple Intelligence Actions (Writing Tools)
Integration with Browser Actions (Inspect Element, Site Code, Open Image in New Tab)
Search Provider Integration (add multiple lines of Search with Kagi, Search with Google)
Actions for Download, Move To, Download To, Send To, Share To
System Actions (Copy, Paste, Cut and Crop) → (Copying Links without Tracking Parameters)
Workflows (covering multiple actions)
Extension integrations (Adding a link to Raindrop, Send to Password Managers)
Thus supporting default extension integrations
Allow setting menus by profile / focus mode / site
Auto Detect the type of the text/image/video for example date, time, link, place, country
Use Case: Meeting with Melina on 27.05 15:30 (allow when right clicking to add an entry to the calendar)

This would increase my enjoyment using Orion and allows me to unclutter my menu.

Links and On-Device-Links can be useful to avoid unnecessary extensions which increase the load of the browser. An example use case would be to Ask the Kagi Assistant, Query ChatGPT locally, Create a New Note in Apple Notes or a New Reminders / Calendar Entry.

i don tthink this makes sense for orion to implement. imo, its out of scope for a browser to link to other apps. see https://hookproductivity.com for something that might suit your needs.

extensions can opt to suport the existing apis for this. it should not be up to orion to modify how an extension works

workflows/shortcuts/browser actions are almost certainly best implemented as extensions.

eirk I don't think you understood the purpose of this post, I was listing features the Customizable Right Click Menu may support. This means letting the user add the items themselves and not Orion doing that for them.

Generally its not, websites do that all the time. Deep links are supported across a variety of apps.

As said above I am asking them to be user-addable. This may be implemented with a Drag-In-Drop Tool or similar to this:

Your Browser gets indentifiable the more extensions you install.
Using Extensions takes an effect on the performance of the browser
It should not be the extensions which decide upon the personal usage of my browser

Unnecessary Clutter, populated menu entries and the above annoyances, let the user take back control over their browser.

I understand your request because I did the same myself before joining Kagi. It turns out that this is a very complex task to accomplish and is therefore not one of our current priorities, but I hope that one day we will be able to implement it.
