Steps to reproduce:
- Go to https://fireship.io
- Click LOGIN button on top right
- Choose "Sign in with Apple"
- Touch TouchID sensor
- Watch the popup close and stare at the login/signup options
After
- doing this three times and checking out the console and seeing an error about "popup closed by user" even though I never did such a thing
- retrying the same scenario with Orion RC's compatibility mode with the exact same results
- trying the same scenario in Safari and succeeding on the first try
I came here to report this.
I expected to log in, the same way it does in Safari.
Damn it.. as I was recording the video for you I tried this again in Orion RC and I could log in. So sorry, no video for you.
This does not mean this is not a bug. I believe it only worked because the "Sign in with Apple" was successful in Safari. Somehow, afterwards, Orion RC was able to process the "Sign in with Apple" flow successfully.
