Tab count overflows Tab box

What Happens:

When the count of active tabs is greater than 1, the padding and alignment of the tab count gets all messed up. You can see it in this screenshot:

To recreate, just open an Orion window and open more than one tab.
The issue does not occur in Safari because Safari does not have a similar UI element. It also does not occur on iOS or iPadOS
The issue happens in both Windowed and Full Screen mode. It does not happen with private windows (i.e. - opening multiple private windows does not cause the text padding to break).

Expected Behavior:

Alignment and padding stays the same as when only a single tab is open.

Open a lot of tabs and then close them. The text spacing on the button gets really funky. Seems like it gets cut off?

I'm not sure exactly what causes it. I'd never noticed before because I was using vertical tabs.

Hello,

I think this is a recently introduced bug. It seems like the sidebar toolbar button doesn't grow dynamically as its text grows, so it cuts off tab count text. See screenshot below:

If switch to "icon only" and back to "name only", an opposite problem occurs if I close all tabs but one:

Now the button is too wide and there is an uneven space around the text.
Could be a bug introduced in macOS 15.5 Beta (24F5068b), but I haven't seen any other app's toolbar misbehave. Toolbar items should be using autolayout for their width, so perhaps a call to invalidateIntrinsicContentSize whenever the button is updated can solve the issue.

The button should grow and shrink as appropriate with its content.

The "Tabs" overlaps/overextends its icon.

It should fit in the icon better. This is fixed whehn toggling to vertical tabs and back to standard. But sometimes it randomly goes back to this overlap

The odd little tab counter thingy goes out of bounds when the number is larger than 1.

The same issue happens on non-compact toolbar mode.
I also attempted using the other two modes for this button (icon only, icon+text) and they are both wonky.

Icon only:
Not only is it extremely confusing and super ugly with 2 similar icons sitting next to eachother, while one of them has a border - but more importantly, the border is offset. The padding on the right is not the same size as the left padding, making the icon not centered.

Icon and Text:
For some reason - it fixes the issue i mentioned above. It seems to offer more horizontal space by default, so numbe 2 is no longer out of bounds... The same cannot be said for number 10 however. Although I never-ever have this amount of tabs, it should be dynamic.

I expect the button to dynamically resize to hug the available contents.

How is this still not fixed? 🤦‍♂️ Front and center in the UI, no option to remove that button and such an easy thing to fix.
