Rendering of images on https://www.theguardian.com/uk fails

Even in "compatibility" mode, all images on the Guardian website render as a "question mark" failure on desktop. iOS Orion works correctly. Desktop Safari works correctly on same machine.

In compatibility mode, the only error shown in the console is:

Failed to preconnect to https://phar.gu-web.net/. Error: A server with the specified hostname could not be found.

The only extension loaded is Lastpass.

Other websites appear to work correctly.

The pictures should be displayed!

Hey,
could you check if the same happens on a fresh Orion profile (File -> Profiles -> New Profile...)?

I was not able to reproduce this issue.

Still broken in a new profile, I'm afraid. Odd. What should I look for in the console logs? I'm using nextdns for my resolution, but (a) it's an unfiltered profile on this particular machine (b) Safari works, which would be odd were the problem DNS (and yes, I know the next line in the haiku is "it was DNS") and (c) I can't see anything remotely relevant-looking in the DNS logs.

And it gets weirder. The machine with the problem is an x86 machine at work. It's fine on an M! machine at home, running 15.2. On Monday I will take the home machine into work (fortunately it's a laptop) and see what happens...
