Vertical tabs button doesn't stay deleted in compact mode

Why does the vertical dropdown menu still need to be present in Normal or compact mode? After every update it's the first thing i check and it's always the same. When i remove it from the top bar, it only stays removed until the browser is opened again and then it comes back. The top bar would be so much more clean and tidy if it stayed removed.

Hey @Brooklin! Could you please share a screenshot indicating which menu you exactly mean?

The Vertical show button. When i delete in normal or compact mode, it keeps coming back. If i'm using normal or compact, i don't need the vertical option. I would rather have a clean header with more space for tabs.

I tried to reproduce this issue but I was not able to do so. I did the following:

Open Orion, tabs are set to compact mode.
Click on the ... button on the top right of Orion and select Customize Menu...
Select the Sidebar toggle button (the same button you have circled) and remove it from the toolbar.
Now the button is no more in the compact toolbar.
Do the same thing after changing to tabs to normal mode.
Now the button is no more in the normal toolbar.

You mention that the button "keeps coming back", could you tell me when it is coming back? For me, the button stayed removed even after restarting Orion.

It come back ever single time, even when just minimizing the page. I do exactly how you described and the button comes right back again.

Hey again @Brooklin - I haven't been able to get this to reproduce even after trying multiple times (the steps are as I have described above). Can you please share a video of this bug in action if you are able to see it every time? Also, please share a screenshot / video of your settings pages so that I can try to reproduce with the exact same ones.
