Search page keep reloading

After getting the search results, the search page constantly reloads. If the search term contains spaces or other special characters the reloads searches the url-encoded search term (e.g. searches “orion%20browser”)

Just return the search results

We recently fixed an issue with search queries being incorrectly rendered encoded (e.g. %20 for "space"). This looks like something related.
Please feel free to open a new ticket if you see this appearing again?

Hi smellythief, sorry to hear about you experience. Could you give me more detail about the issue you're encountering? Do you have a way to eaily trigger the faulty behaviour so that I can reproduce it?

So this was happening on my iPhone and both my iPads every time, when I commented about it. So I tried to reproduce it on my phone just now and it didn’t happen. Then I tried it on my little iPad and it also didn’t happen. Then I tried on my big iPad and it DID happen. So I started to screen record, in order to upload a little video as proof… and now I can’t get it to recur. I did notice that after searching for text with spaces, and then force quitting the app and reopening it, this phenomenon does occur but without the reloading. That is not huge deal from a user experience problem, but maybe it will help you debug…

Hi smellythief, the bug showing %20 instead of spaces in search terms should have been fixed in release 1.3.26 (6). Do you think the reload issue was related, or was that 2 separate things?

Hi smellythief, I am sorry but I am still unable to reproduce this issue.
Are you still experiencing this problem? Is it only with Kagi searches?
