Maybe a bug, it May be a feature but updating from beta to RC

I know that the RC is a special program to those who support but is there a way to update your beta version directly to the RC version? i tried manually searching for update and app kept saying it was up to date. Downloading from website installed a new separate app for the RC release.

I was hoping it would have an option like apple usually does to opt in and update whatever you're using to their beta/stable release

As far as I know, the plan is to eventually merge the RC and beta into one app, making the process of switching between stablility and bleeding edge as convenient as possible. However, that is not yet live.
