Screen is split when changing tab groups

When I change tab groups, about 20% of the time the UI gets stuck in this weird split mode that I can’t escape from. Half of one tab is shown on the left, the other half on the right.

I’d normally expect that I can switch tab groups, and the newly selected tab fills the screen.

You aren't the first one to mention this, and you seem to run into this quite consistently (20% is quite a high success rate).

It would be helpful if you could share a screen recording of how you reach this state. I am aware of how much effort hiding any personal information from your browser favorites, tabs etc. may require.
