I have found that I often have to click on links multiple times to get them to actually load. I don’t know if it’s a (long) delay or an actual failure. Most of the time, I am doing this from a Magic Keyboard Case keyboard, so I don’t know if that adds to the problem. It is very hard to explain how to duplicate because it just happens randomly, but relatively frequently.

(I have had the “open in background” setting turned on, but will now try turning that off to see if it helps at all.)

I expect a click to immediately open a new tab, and then it can load the contents. If this is a problem with a long delay, then at least that would be a better experience.

(Can’t the feedback form auto-fill the Orion version? Sure, I might want to change it if I’m filing the bug from a separate device, but generally, auto-filling the version would be super convenient.)

I might be talking nonsense, but sometimes I get that impression too, and it's often because the website I click on doesn't react immediately. It makes me feel like I didn't click. Could that be it too?

Is this just happening on certain websites? Just curious. I’ve on occasion been noticing some lag on the iOS browser. I have extensions installed though, which become unresponsive after periods of time. A refresh of the browser helps but it is odd to have to do.

AndrewDelaney It is pretty consistent in my experience. Definitely not limited to a subset of sites. I guess I should start a spreadsheet to track successful v unsuccessful clicks to help quantify how bad the problem is.

Yannick I don’t believe so. I have started to wait a while in case it eventually triggers, but I end up having to resort to a second click.
