  • The find on page menu is unexpectedly dismissed when searching on finlex.fi on iOS

Steps to reproduce the issue:

  1. Go to, e.g., https://www.finlex.fi/en/legislation/1999/731 on Orion on iOS
  2. Open the find on page menu
  3. Type something that can be found on the page, eduskunta is a term that appears over 70 times on the example page above
  4. Notice that while typing the term, the find on page bar is dismissed as Orion jumps to the first result
  5. This can be reproduced on subsequent find attempts as well
  6. Finding content on the page works as expected on Safari

Expected behavior:
Using find on page should be consistently smooth. The way Find on page on Orion currently behaves on finlex.fi (and presumably some other sites as well) leaves a lot to be desired.

    Experiencing similar on other sites. Relatedly, Sometimes the find on page will be dismissed after I advance through only the first n results.
