A central place to manage this on a per-app basis is a great idea, but it doesn't work as expected. Youtube links are the biggest annoyance for me, but I have never been prompted to choose a preference for them. In fact, it's worse than in Safari- there if I long-press a youtube link and select 'open,' it opens in the browser, and will remember that preference. Doing so in Orion seems inconsistent, but usually still opens the app. I haven't been able to figure out any way to consistently open these links in the browser except using 'Open in new
tab.

Example:
https://duckduckgo.com/?q=bluebird+hm200+hover+mower+review&iar=videos
Tapping the first result, or long-press and select 'Open,' both switch me to the Youtube app. Neither prompts a dialog to select a preference and no saved preference is listed in Settings.

I think this may be related to the two systems for registering app-specific links (the old prefix:// method vs. the Apple method of registering the domain name to the app), but from a user perspective this distinction is irrelevant (the browser doesn't even present an easy way of seeing which type of link it is).

The popup asking if I want to open a link in an external app should appear for any link that does so, and that preference should be remembered.
