I have actually switched from Orion as my main browser just because of this issue. It would be nice to be able to remove and/or relocate the window switcher icons at the top of the vertical tab menu. It doesn't look good at all, and anyone could still access this feature by changing the sidebar content from "Tabs" to "Windows" or even clicking the window indicator in the horizontal bar at the top that appears when you close the sidebar.
The UI of the window switcher really clashes with the rest of the sidebar (especially the elements at the top) and doesn't look as good as it used to. I'd really appreciate being able to relocate this UI element and even be able to remove it entirely (especially because you can access this functionality many other ways than this specific UI element.)
I can see a lot of users wanting to be able to control of where in the sidebar this UI appears, and hide it if they prefer (as there are other ways to access this feature in the sidebar).
All browsers that have implemented vertical tabs with this feature put the window (or workspace) switcher down at the bottom left. It doesn't look good at the top of the sidebar because it clashes with the spacing, alignment and icon sizing of the elements surrounding it. The stroke above and below it also calls way too much attention to it as nothing else in the sidebar has a stroke.
The old window switcher element looked 30 times better. Maybe a toggle in the settings to switch between the two styles would work great as well.
It also makes the sidebar look very chaotic and has actually driven me off of using Orion as my main browser for now because of the visual headache it has caused me.
