Bottom UI overlaps with web page. On some pages this obscures buttons, etc.
Safari doesn't do this.
Can replicate with any website.

First screenshot is Orion, second screenshot is Safari.

App version: 1.3.19 (10) (WebKit 8620.2.4.10.8)
System version: 18.3.2
Device type: ?unrecognized?
Native bounds: (1179.0, 2556.0)

I want the bottom UI to not overlap the web page when it is scrolled to the bottom.

Hi oncer thank you for taking the time to report this bug!

I haven't been able to reproduce on Orion 1.3.19 (10). When I scroll all the way to the bottom of the page (kagi.com/orion) I have a similar result compared to Safari, no bottom cropping.
Could you give me more context: do you have any extensions installed? Was the page fully loaded?
Do you have more examples with other web pages?

Thank you for your help in making Orion a better browser!

Some sites such as https://mobile.southwest.com/ are having the very bottom of the site being cut off. In the case of southwest it's the copyright info, however, I have multiple sites (that require an account) that are cutting off links/buttons that are at the very bottom of the page.

I am unable to reproduce this issue on Safari. It also seems to be prevalent on sites that the bottom bar does not auto collapse when scrolling down.

When you scroll to the bottom of the page. The very bottom should be visible without having to scroll down and keep your finger on the screenhttps://orionfeedback.org/assets/files/2025-04-09/1744159523-134541-screenrecording-04-08-2025-20-43-16-1.mp4

Merged 1 post from Bottom of some websites being cut off by the bottom toolbar.

On some sites, especially if they they fill the screen without scrollable content, the navigation bar will not collapse causing links/buttons to not be accessible

          Example site: https://mobile.southwest.com/
(Scroll to bottom and imagine the copyright information being a link)

(The times I’ve run into this problem and had navigation issues have been on sites that require an account to sign in. Southwest is a quick website I found to demonstrate the issue even though it doesn’t directly cause navigation issues)

The navigation bar to collapse when scrolling down and/or an option in menu to collapse the bar

I also want to add that Safari does not collapse the bar on this website, but it does show the bottom of the page unlike Orion which cuts off the bottom.

The problem/solution may be the site being cut off vs the navigation bar not collapsing

Merged 2 posts from Navigation bar does not collapse on some sites when scrolling.

                @oncer @joshm
Do you have Settings -> Browsing -> Focus Mode enabled?
Could you check if disabling it solves the issue?

laiz I had it enabled and turning it off resolves the issue for me.

Thank you all for your contributions to this thread!
I could finally (easily) reproduce the issue once @laiz mentionned the "Focus Mode". That was the right hint to put me on track, and I could find a fix pretty quickly.

After last (or previous) orion update on ios, viewport gets cut from the top/bottom by the panel bars. See screenshots. Youtube: part of the top and the bottom is cut, airbnb: the bottom is cut. This happens also for other websites, but these are easy examples.
"Hide toolbar on scroll" also makes the top weirdly cut.

expected this not to happen like before
