AI automation is becoming increasingly important, and I suggest incorporating it into future releases of Orion.
This year, Dia, a new browser from The Browser Company, is launching with a built-in AI assistant and automation tools. It natively supports ordering products, filling out forms and navigating various sites.
As the industry is shifting into automation and integrating AI automation inside the browser, I would love for Orion to use its expertise with its Kagi Search Engine and AI to integrate a native Ki Assistant and functionality of Browser Use (https://github.com/browser-use/browser-use) inside Orion.
Browser Use is an open source contender of Operator and can do various automative tasks by connecting AI agents with the browser.
The team behind Browser Use recently secured $17 million in funding to further develop the project. Currently, it boasts an 89% accuracy rate, outperforming solutions like Operator by OpenAI, which has 87% accuracy.
Operator offers similar functionality but comes at a monthly subscription cost of $200.
The implementation can be shipped with local models or cloud models through a monthly sub at Kagi.
The service itself can be run locally or be offered to run on Kagi Servers.
