@Yannick Sorry but I think I'm experiencing similar behaviour in Tahoe (26.1) with the latest 1.0 release.
Specifically, when the "Compact" Tab Layout is used, the search bar and tabs disappear when the window width is set to the minimum amount possible. This happens to ANY Orion window.
Also, the minimum amount possible for "Compact" Tab Layout is not half the width of the screen (13' MacBook Air M2), which makes it a bit hard to put windows side by side.
Steps to replicate the issue (from a clean Orion install):
- Set "Tab Layout" to "Compact"
- Create a new window
- Resize the window's width to the minimum amount possible
Notes:
- This does not happen in Safari, but Safari does not have Compact tab mode anymore.
- This bug does not happen with the "Standard" Tab Layout.
- "Use Mini Toolbar" DOES fixes this.
I would expect Orion to allow resizing window to half screen width while keeping the search bar tab bar visible.
