Firstly, this will be more useful if Orion to had a keybind menu first (which has been suggested before).
Single-Key shortcuts are basically shortcuts you can use while browsing without using any modifier keys.
It allows for a more fluid browsing experience (especially one-handed browsing), and further independence from trackpads/mice devices.
If a keybind feature is already planned anyways, I think designing it with this addition will be fantastic.
This is an optional feature on the Vivaldi browser that I have come to absolutely LOVE.
Instead of Cmd+L to focus and highlight on the address bar, just tap L.
Instead of Cmd+[ ] to go back/forward on a page, just tap [ or ].
- Vivaldi uses z/x for this by default
Instead of Ctrl+Tab to switch between tabs, just press 1 or 2.
These shortcuts will only fire if a text field is not in focus, obviously.
