Bug Report

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Install https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/hypothesis-web-pdf-annota/bjfhmglciegochdpefhhlphglcehbmek.
  2. Immediately, Orion will either crash or throw an unsupported APIs warning.
  3. Clicking on the extension icon in the toolbar to activate the extension does nothing.

Expected behavior:

  1. No crash or unsupported API call messages.
  2. The highlight/annotation sidebar appears, as it does in Chrome, on the right hand side of the page.

Note: this exception is a red herring considering the fact that the main purpose of the extension is the highlight/annotation bar, which doesn't appear.

    Does it crash after showing this dialogue or?

      Hi Vlad, Orion and Kagi are breath of fresh air! The only hiccup stuttering my full migration is that after successfully installing Hypothesis extensions: Firefox Unofficial Hypothesis Extension; Chrome Hypothesis Extension, neither present the right-sidebar overlay when activated from the toolbar.         +1 for Hypothesis support. 🙂 The sidebar does not appear for me either.
