I love orion but the most irritating thing about this which I could not resist complaining is that when one quits by either pressing the red cross or cmd+W and opens orion later, it always opens with a new window. Please for god sake remove this or at least give the option to reopen the previous window which was in use having several open tabs like chrome. I know we can quit with cmd+option+w to restore current window but I want this option as default or a setting to make it default as I use an app call swift quit which quits apps when I press red cross. I have several windows opened just because I could not restore working immediately with the one I left. Hoping for a swift reply/fix, thanks vlad otherwise for doing such a great job.

Hoping that after reopening orion, previous window is restored by default.

    SkullX quits by either pressing the red cross or cmd+W

    Neither of those quits Orion. Instead, by using those you are telling Orion to discard the tabs in that window.

    ⌘+Q does precisely that, as long as you have Orion opens with: All [non-private] windows from last session set in Orion settings -> General.

    This is how Safari does it as well, and to my knowledge that is how Apple intends it to be done. If some browser is not following that behavior, they are deviating from the norm.

    What laiz said. 🙂

    Or, if you're not a fan of keyboard shortcuts;

    I would gently make the point that this isn't limited to Orion - or even to web browsers. This is how all programs are supposed to work on macOS. If you've recently transitioned over from Windows, it's one of the ways in which the two Operating Systems diverge. Only certain non-native programs will work differently.

    Hi, what I can see here is that when closing a window with cmd+w , the window is closed but a new one is immediatly re-open.
    This is not happening while closing with red-cross.
    This appeared with Version 0.99.132-beta
    Version 0.99.131 didn't have this bug.

      I found the solution to my problem thanks to DeepSeek, it was to run this command in terminal: [defaults write com.kagi.orion NSQuitAlwaysKeepsWindows -bool true] for restoring tabs after quitting Orion.

        No one is typing
