Velja Support for Orion Preview window

I am looking into opening Links within Orion Preview using https://sindresorhus.com/velja .
For smaller tasks that don't require the full browser experience this helps saving valuable time.

The intended workflow is opening a link in an external program as Notion, Word or Apple Pages and see an Orion Preview Window instead of a new tab in Orion.

The Orion Preview Window is a great feature that deserves more exposure.

Wait, I'm not quite understanding.

If you use Orion's Link Preview option and click a link in Notion, for example, a mini window opens, right?

So you would like to be able to change the browser that opens the links by selecting Orion in Velija, and then have it open the link in a small window?

Yannick Unfortunately that isn't happening, I get straight a new tab in Orion while using the Velja extension.

Should I select Orion as standard browser this issue isn't happening

I'm having the same issue with OpenIn - a similar app. They all register themselves as the default browser, and then forward received links to a selected browser - enabling quick switching of different browsers for different URLs. I'm not sure how this is done internally, as the open command does work with Orion for link previews. When links are opened via OpenIn as the default app, link previews of opened links stop working - they open as regular new tabs in Orion.

Velja has a free, no-registration trial which should be able to reproduce this.
