In the latest RC reddit became unusable, I am thinking about a memory leak, as the behaviour caused crashes before. There is nothing the user can do once reddit falls into the freeze state.
This issue is tied to the latest RC.

To Reproduce:

  1. Visit https://reddit.com
  2. Login
  3. Turn on page tweaks against ads
  4. Browse Reddit
  5. Turn on compact view and remove page tweaks
  6. Close Reddit
  7. Revisit Reddit and be stuck on compact view page that's not entirely loaded

Browser functionality isn't working, it fails to activate compatible mode and right click isn't possible. Something strange is going on.

Can you try without this setting?

Yannick This happens even with that setting. I will try to delete cache and see if I can reproduce it.

Orion fails to reload the page even in compatibility mode.

I also experience issues with Reddit. Here is what causes it to lock up and eat up an increasingly large amount of memory until closing the frozen tab:

        • Use vertical tabs
        • Logged in to reddit
        • Use Reddit's "compact" view instead of "card" view

I don't have any extension installed and have tried a complete reset of Orion. For whatever reason, it only seems to be an issue when using vertical tabs and not when using horizontal.
