When in vertical tab layout mode we can hide the side bar using Cmd + Ctrl + S.
Now we should be able to reveal the sidebar using by moving the cursor to the left side. This only works in full screen with default settings.

This can provide move horizontal space and also works with well with focus mode when you quickly want to check the tabs
I support this behavior. It seems intuitive and mimic the Arc Browser which, for me, is the gold standard for usability.
Hey! This feature was added in the latest Orion release. You can enable it by right clicking the red area in the image and making sure Auto-show Sidebar is enabled.

You are right, I didn't noticed that. But it feels clunky
One thing I noticed is that, this morning, upon reopening Orion RC, the sidebar did not autohide until I pressed CTL-CMD-S to first hide it again. Maybe I have done something wrong here, but it would be cool if someone could confirm this behavior please.
