In this video, I've documented in detail what I'm referring to.
If I were to use custom search engines using specific shortcut key invocation that I've sent in the search engine tab and then continue to type the words for searching, until they appear in the search bar menu (usually took me more than 2 seconds in every single attempt I've tried), pressing return key results in an empty search. This should've been instantaneous like I've shown in Arc browser.
Additionally, the UI when switching to a custom search engine from a default search engine could be better. The current one still displays the p in the search bar, which seems a little weird. But if the functionality for searching becomes fast / snappy. That's a first good step, which I'll be happy about.
This is one feature that's stopping me from completely switching to this as my daily driver.
I except the search to be instantaneous & snappy similar to chromium based browsers.
