Space bar not passed to page using ipad pro + magic keyboard

on an ipad pro with a magic keyboard, go to this page:
https://www.chiark.greenend.org.uk/~sgtatham/puzzles/js/mines.html
(it’s a web version of the game minesweeper)
tap the upper left cell, which should expose cells with numbers.
with the keyboard, arrow to an unexposed (gray) cell. you should see red highlighting of your current cell move with the arrows.
press the space bar on a gray cell.

EXPECT: the cell should be marked with a mine.
BUG: the page scrolls down as if the space was passed to the page itself instead of the game.

this started occurring within the last month (two orion releases ago). same page operates properly in safari and chrome. the game source has not changed in this time.

Hey,

Can you try with Safari please?
As we use the same rendering engine, we can do nothing if this is the case
But you can report it directly to Apple: → https://bugs.webkit.org

i mentioned that it works fine in safari and chrome. macos orion also works correctly. something changed with orion’s keypress handling on ipad + magic keyboard.
