There is no immediate way to pause a video, navigate to home (put orion into the background) without the app automatically unpausing it again once in background, and starting to play it again in the background (with the setting on for background play). You first have to press pause, then swipe down to go out of fullscreen video, and then you can press home safely, otherwise the video will unpause and resume play as soon as you minimise orion, even after you’ve paused playback. In other words, pause and minimising the app doesnt work unless you exit fullscreen on the video page first. I love how the background play of audio works seamlessly with the setting for background play toggled on, but pausing shouldn’t be overridden when navigating to home, and using other apps. I’d like to be able to pause while in fullscreen video, tap home, use other apps, and then enter orion straight back into video fullscreen, press play, and resume playback. At present the only way to do this takes extra steps: minimising video first. It adds a second extra step too, because you then have to maximise again (enter full screen again) too.
The video and audio to stay paused after pausing it and not tampering or touching the play controls.
