I have an account on a locally-hosted Forgejo instance, and the 2FA for this account uses a passkey, which is stored in 1Password.

When I log in from any browser other than Orion or Safari, the 1Password extension offers to use the saved passkey.

When I use Orion or Safari, Apple's own passkey dialog appears, which only allows passkeys stored in iCloud Keychain, or a hardware key.

If I cannot use passkeys stored in 1Password, I will not be able to use Orion. I am not switching to iCloud Keychain, especially since it doesn't seem to work in Linux.

As Safari does the same thing, I assume this is something in WebKit. But Orion should override it; just because Apple is trying to be a monopolist, doesn't mean Orion should be complicit.

The problem appears to be with the Firefox version of the 1Password extension — but the good news is that the Chromium version doesn't seem to have the same problem. Sorry for the noise!
