Recently Orion has been frequently opening new tabs telling me that the 1Password extension needed to restart. I can not identify any action that triggers the the issue, but it can happen multiple times in 15 minutes and then not happen for hours.
No idea why this has started or precisely when it started, but it is a recent thing (past couple of weeks). I do not have this issue on my Mobile devices. I have never seen this issue in Safari or Firefox (suppose they could simply be ignoring the issue). I am using the Raindrop.io extension and the uBlock Origin extension. I have seen some similar issues that mentioned a potential tie in with uBlock so I tried removing the uBlock extenstion. The issue did not change.
When the new tab opens I try to use the 1Password extension and typically can access 1Password. Once or twice I have had to launch the 1Password app to get the extension to connect.

I expected the 1Password extension to work without this error.
