Visit slashdot.org using default adblock settings. Website loads, ads load, rendering fails and the following error appears:

"This page could not be loaded properly due to incorrect / bad filtering rule(s) of adblockers in use.
Please disable all adblockers to continue using the website. (click OK if you'd like to learn more)"

Clicking OK redirects to a URL at report.error-report.com, but Orion can't open this page (bad URL)

Expected behavior: Slashdot should load and ads should be blocked.

With uBlock Origin (and the built-in content blocker disabled) Slashdot also does not render correctly, but it does not give an error. The page looks like this and I can't scroll:

Thanks for looking into this! I just tried purging the cache and cookies but the issue persisted.

I then tried enabling and disabling the various adblock lists. After trying various combinations:

With the default lists (EasyList, EasyPrivacy, d3Host, and the built-in custom filter), slashdot now renders fine and without error, but ads are not blocked.
If I also enable Fanboy's Annoyance list (in addition to the defaults), ads are blocked and slashdot renders fine.

This is all with only the native content blocker, not uBO. I also use systemwide dns-based adblocking with NextDNS, if relevant.

I typically browse with uBlock Origin active and Orion's built-in blocker disabled as I don't feel the need to have both working away at the same task at the same time. In my previous post I showed uBO-only results - I had also tested with the built-in blocker active, but I'd neglected to clarify that. Sorry.

Here's what happens with Orion's native blocker enabled in addition to uBlock Origin;

That's with the following blocker settings, which I believe to be the default (?);

(Any lists not shown in the screenshot are not active.)

I then tried doing the following;

I updated my filter lists, which had previously shown as last being updated on the 27th of January
I enabled all filter lists in Orion's native blocker

No matter what I try, I simply cannot reproduce the problem reported above. I don't typically use NextDNS and I didn't try testing with any variation of the service they provide. Maybe it was their bad; maybe not.

I'm glad to hear that the problem at least appears to have been rectified for you, OP.
