Does Orion have any plans to allow users to use extensions like Noir and Adguard? Is this already implemented if so how do I use noir's dark mode with orion? This is kinda make or break for me so any advice would be great.

This will make dark mode and ad blocking viable on Orion and allow more power users to switch.

    I’m not aware of any way to use browser extensions designed for Safari in Orion; the browser’s main claim to fame is that it supports extensions for both Mozilla Firefox and Google Chrome.

    I would have to say that both dark mode & ad blocking are eminently possible on Orion as things are.

    For ad blocking, I would recommend the Firefox version of uBlock Origin;
    https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/ublock-origin/

    For dark mode, see if the extension Dark Reader is acceptable to you;
    https://chromewebstore.google.com/detail/dark-reader/eimadpbcbfnmbkopoojfekhnkhdbieeh?hl=en

    Don’t forget to enable Firefox and Chrome extensions;

    1. Tap on the three dots in the bottom-right corner
    2. Tap on Settings
    3. Tap on Advanced
    4. Toggle on both Chrome Extensions and Firefox Extensions

      sreza if you are talking only about the mobile version:

      • for dark mode you can actually use "dark reader" or " turn off the lights" try what works best for you if chrome or firefox version

      • for adblocking use the built in adblocker of Orion that does use the Adguard rule converter library to apply the filterlists.

        Until a week ago it supported adguard's filterlists but unfortunately something broke in last update so this specific filters don't work right now but I'm confident devs will squash the bug soon.

      sarno on desktop is possible to use safari's extension:
      install from file -> select the extension from the app folder

      No one is typing
