Orion is STILL crashing after last patch

Orion is still crashing, and it seems like the last patch did not fix this for me. It crashes immediately after opening--too fast to even press send on the crash log. It takes a reboot and about 20-30 starts before orion is stable again. This happens on both my Macbook Pro and M2 Pro Mac Mini.

Orion is unuseable at this point. I hope it gets fixed soon!

I was coming to this page to report this bug and found this. When I tried to reply Orion crashed forcing me into Safari to file this.
I am getting crashes to the point that Orion is not usable. I literally get a crash on almost every page. Here is what I have tried.
I reset Orion including all cloud data and everything.
I reloaded ny bookmarks only
I installed ONLY 1Password as without that extension Orion is nearly pointless for me.

From there I am just using Orion and continue to get crashes on almost every other new tab. If I reload Orion it works on that same page but I have lost enough form data I am not able to trust it any longer.

I have sent every crash report in but this needs to get fixed or at least have 1 -2 crashes a day (I get it is labeled beta but you took money here so...) to be even remotely usable.

I love Orion when it works and it was great right until that last 2 updates. I tried moving back but that did not work so I am not sure where this is coming from. I am available to an engineer if you want.

I know that the crash logs have been submitted, so this isn't a message to jump on a bandwagon. I know that any issues are going to be addressed.
Rather, I'm just putting a quick comment in to let others know that they're not alone and that your problems are other people's problems and that will help the Orion team focus on what needs to be done.

(Spoken as a professional software developer who has deployed code that takes a project backwards a bit!)

We have fixed a lot of bugs that were causing our beautiful browser to crash in the upcoming version 131.2, which should be available today. Sorry.

I am basically in the same boat as the OP. I love the idea of Orion, but the crashes made it more and more unusable. A browser is one of the core functionalities I need. Annoyed, I finally cancelled my paid Orion plan.

What I came here to say is that I now, as a last resort, tried a completely new profile, this time WITHOUT 1password, even though it is for me as the OP - an absolute necessity. And lo and behold, it hasn't crashed for several days now. It appears to me that the 1password plugin was causing this for me. I have tried both the chrome and firefox plugins, with no difference.

Just mentioning this, hoping that this can be focused on since more people than me seem affected.

1Password has been updated recently and we are working on fixing this as we speak.

Yannick Sounds good! Hopefully any fix for 1password will be visible in the release notes so we can test it fully (knowing when we can expect it to work again).

.132 actually seems to have solved this long standing bug with 1password. I have not had a single crash since updating and activating 1password again. Good work!
