On macOS, some apps support ~/Library/DefaultKeyBinding.dict (e.g. https://github.com/ttscoff/KeyBindings) for user-remappable key bindings. I use this for making the home & end keyboard keys scroll to the top and bottom of a page, as they do on Windows. This works in many apps, including Chrome and Firefox, but not Kagi or Safari.
Either support for DefaultKeyBinding.dict where possible, and/or adding native support for home/end keys and variants (shift-home, shift-end, etc.).
