One feature I absolutely loved about Apollo (the iOS reddit client) was the smart rotation lock. When rotation the device, Apollo would remain in portrait mode, except when viewing media, in which it would then rotate.
I would like Orion mobile to also have a similar feature, the ability to prevent rotation when browsing, without enabling the global portrait rotation lock would be greatly appreciated.
Apollo also had a "Portrait Lock Buddy" option, which when viewing media, would present an option to rotate the media even if the global portrait rotation lock was enabled. This video demonstrates this feature
On mobile I rarely want to rotate a website while browsing, which requires that I use the global portrait rotation lock, however I almost always want to rotate the device for viewing media, which requires that I disable the lock, then re-enable it after. It gets a little repetitive.
