Orion is failing to reload simple HTML pages without cache

I have been working on a website that is a simple index.html file served at the root of a domain, and for the life of me I cannot get Orion to reload the page when I push changes to the server. I've tried holding shift and pressing the reload button and explicitly selecting View->Reload Page Without Cache, but neither works.

In Firefox, right after uploading the page is typically cached, but if I shift+refresh it immediately refreshes, so I don't think this is a server issue.

Shift+refresh should actually do a hard refresh of the entire page and its contents, regardless of whether it's a simple HTML page, a Javascript SPA, or whatever else.

IanBeck In Orion, we have shortcut as Option+Command+R for hard refresh. So, please give that a try.

dino I did; that shortcut is to the View->Reload Without Cache menu item, and I tried both selecting the menu item and using the shortcut.

IanBeck can you please compare behavior with Safari too?

Also, it would be good if you can share the URL for testing.

dino I tried in Safari, and it also fails to load recent changes (though I can't find a "reload without cache" option, so unless shift+refresh is implemented there I'm only getting standard refreshes). FWIW the URL is https://rules.saveyourbacon.app but obviously you won't see anything unless I make a change and push it to the server after the page has been cached by Orion.
