Orion 0.99 freezes upon startup on macOS 15.3.1

I recently updated to macOS 15.3.1 (from 15.3.) and since then Orion freezes upon startup.
There were 110 tabs open, I often had more.

I deleted preferences according to the support document and that didn't work. I also deinstalled Orion using App Cleaner and emptied the trash and then redownloaded the Orion installer.

Upon starting the new Orion I get that "do you want to play the intro video" message and Orion freezes again.

I use an M1 Max Macbook Pro.

Orion starting like normal.

And a restart helped. Though I had to set it up new and had to copy the favourites.plist instead of some import mechanism.

I’ve experienced freezing on various states of using the latest Orion as well, unsure where to pin point as of now. Most recently I had to force quit due to freezing when I tried to arrange tabs. Other times just from navigating a site.

crispy can you please share a process sample when this happens again, so we will be able to check where it's happening (must be some deadlock due to thread priority issues).

Orion RC Version 0.99.134-rc (WebKit 622.1.9.19.2) on MacOS 15.5 (24F74) freezes shortly after launching the app with only an empty tab open, and I try to open the tab group drop-down. I then need to do a force quit.

Another observation is that if I launch the app and immediately go to the tab group drop-down, it works, and the app doesn't freeze for the rest of the time I'm using it. However, if I launch the app, let it sit for a bit, and then try to access the tab group drop-down, it freezes.
