Bug Description:
Issue: The mouse cursor does not change its style appropriately based on context (e.g., text input fields, hyperlinks) and remains in its default style. This issue occurs sporadically after using Cmd + Tab to switch back to the browser.
Steps to Reproduce:
- Open the web browser and navigate to any webpage with interactive elements
- Use Cmd + Tab to switch to another application.
- Use Cmd + Tab again to switch back to the web browser.
- Move the mouse cursor over different elements on the webpage (input fields, links, etc.).
Workaround: Using Cmd + Tab to switch out of the browser and back again temporarily fixes the issue, restoring the correct cursor behavior.
Frequency: This issue occurs sporadically and is not consistently reproducible.
Impact: This bug affects user interaction and can be confusing as it gives no visual feedback indicating the type of element the cursor is over.
Environment:
- Version 0.99.127.3-beta (WebKit 619.1.1)
- Build date May 11 2024
- Mac mini (macOS Sonoma 14.5 build 23F79)
The mouse cursor should change its style based on the element it is hovering over (e.g., text cursor over input fields, pointer over links).
